Wall Street closed mixed Friday as tech companies posted major losses.
The Dow rose 89 points to end the week at 21,271, but the S&P decreased two points to 2,431.
The Nasdaq fell 113 points to finish at 6,207, marking its worst performance since May 17 and erasing all of its gains since May 25.
Tech stocks hit record levels in recent weeks but investors had a strong sell-off Friday to grab profits, according to analysts.
Shares of Apple lost 4 percent while Amazon Facebook and Google's parent company, Alphabet, each fell more than 3 percent.
