Stands, tents and stages were set up on an area of 120,000 square meters for the festival, which will be held abroad for the first time across the borders of Turkey, both in and around the Baku Crystal Hall. Planes, unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters and armored vehicles to be exhibited at the festival also took their places in the field.
TRIAL FLIGHTS HAVE BEEN REALIZED
Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA (Assault Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), which was developed nationally and originally by Baykar within the scope of the AKINCI Project led by the Presidency of Defense Industries, and Bayraktar TB2 SİHAs, which demonstrated their success in the Karabakh War, were also deployed. Turkish Air Force aerobatic team Turkish Stars, SOLOTÜRK and Azerbaijan Air Force planes performed test flights in Baku skies before the festival.
PEOPLE IN BAKU WILL EXPERIENCE THE FESTIVAL AIR
Reşat Bayramov, Consultant of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, stated that TEKNOFEST was held internationally in Azerbaijan for the first time outside of Turkey, and this is an indication of the friendship and alliance between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
"For 4 days, people in Baku will experience a feast. Admission will be free, visitors will watch amazing programs," he said.
