Tekruri made important evaluations on many issues, from how the month of Ramadan should be understood, how the month of Ramadan was lived in Jerusalem and Palestine, from the remedies for the victory of the Islamic ummah to the importance of the unity of the ummah in terms of the freedom of Palestine. Addressing the people of Turkey, Tekruri said, "Our request from the people is that they should always be ready for the Jerusalem cause, the Masjid al-Aqsa cause and their brothers living in Palestine, no matter what the conditions are. They should not break their support and ties with them." Tekruri, on how the month of Ramadan passed in Palestine, "Every Ramadan they add crime to their crimes and leave children orphans. The other day, the woman killed by the invaders had 6 children, all of whom were orphaned. As the fears of the occupying Zionists increase, so does their crime. No matter what happens, Ramadan is a month of jihad, patience and perseverance for us," he added.

What is the importance of the month of Ramadan, how should we understand this blessed month?

No doubt Ramadan is a blessed month that is one of the conditions of Islam and we have to fast during the times we are in. It represents a great meaning to serve Allah Almighty. The month of Ramadan is an opportunity for believing servants to properly perform their worship and devotion to Allah Almighty. As a matter of fact, our Beloved Prophet (pbuh) said: "Allah Almighty, who is holy and exalted, repays a good deed of the son of Adam from ten to seven hundred times, except fasting." Allah Almighty says: "Fasting is for me, I will reward it." The month of Ramadan is actually like a training course that lasts for a month every year for us. Because people stay away from all pleasant pleasures. Like eating and drinking... We shouldn't look at the month of Ramadan as just staying away from eating and drinking, because the month of Ramadan is also the month of the Qur'an, the month of worship, the month of recitation, the month of dhikr. It is also a month that will allow us to discipline our souls. Another thing that Ramadan has added to us and made us stronger is our will. The condition is patience. In this blessed month, we strengthen our patience, endure all kinds of troubles and calamities, and increase our obedience to Allah Almighty. Ramadan is the month of sacrifice for us. Believers show patience, perseverance and self-sacrifice in this blessed month.

“THE RAMADAN IS THE NIGHTMARE OF INVADER ZIONISTS”

How is Ramadan in Jerusalem and Palestine?

The month of Ramadan is a month in which the influx and devotion to Al-Aqsa Mosque increase in Jerusalem and Palestine. It is the month of Itikaf and worship for Palestinians. Ramadan is the month when the bond between Palestinians and Masjid al-Aqsa is strengthened. Palestinians perform Itikaf in Masjid al-Aqsa during Ramadan. This is not just our love for al-Aksa... This is an obligation, a jihad and a ribat that falls on us. As our people have done in the past years, this determination and state of worship in Ramadan gives fear to the Zionist enemy. The month of Ramadan has been the nightmare of the Zionists since the establishment of the occupying state. The blessed month of Ramadan is a nightmare to the invading Zionists. For us, the month of Ramadan is the month of jihad and perseverance. Knowing this, the Zionists almost go crazy with fear when the month of Ramadan comes. We can see this from their cruelty and massacres. We all saw the Palestinian woman who was martyred the other day. How the invading Zionists disregarded the life of an innocent and killed them in cold blood. All this stems from their fear. Every Ramadan, they add crime to their crimes and leave children orphans. The other day, the woman killed by the invaders had 6 children, all of them orphaned. As the fears of the occupying Zionists increase, so does their crime. Regardless, Ramadan is a month of jihad, patience and perseverance for us.

“UNITY AND COLLABORATION NEEDS TO THINK OF OTHER BROTHERS”

The month of Ramadan is one of the best examples of the unity of the ummah... What is the importance of the unity of the ummah in terms of the freedom of Palestine?

It is Union that makes us who we are and makes our Ramadan, Ramadan. In this month, Muslims, wherever they are, by fasting, they feel one and the same with the worship they do, the prayers they make, the births they give. In the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims become conscious of being allies and one body, intellectually, scientifically, physically, mentally and morally. They start fasting together at the time of imsak in the morning and break their fast together with the evening azan and have iftar. In addition, our sense of empathy develops during Ramadan, and we have the opportunity to feel and see what other people are feeling and going through. However, we hear the groans and pains of the oppressed peoples living under oppression and persecution in various parts of the Islamic geography and condemned to hunger and poverty. While fasting, a Muslim creates a consciousness in himself in terms of understanding other people's difficult situations. This is the beauty of the month of Ramadan. Today, the Gaza Strip has been under siege and embargo for 15 years. When a Muslim sits at the iftar table, he considers the troubles of his brothers in Gaza and to understand the difficulties. When he performs the tarawih prayer in his own neighborhood, he should think about the conditions under which his brothers were praying there. Because they are trying to pray there, under the shadow of the weapons of the Zionist invaders, at the cost of their lives. Unity and collaboration require thinking of other brothers as well.

This year, the Islamic Ummah is struggling with all kinds of difficulties during Ramadan. What is the solution to the salvation of the Islamic Ummah?

I believe that Allah Almighty has shown us the right path and guided us. We too must believe in Allah Almighty and believe in His prophets, books, angels and the Hereafter. All these complete the sincere commitment of man. For perfect faith, a sincere faith requires serious action. The Islamic Ummah cannot come out of its difficult and hard situations by being stingy by making small calculations. People who are stingy with their time and money, are lazy and stuck on their money, can never overcome their problems.

“I INVITE ALL OF YOU TO PRAYER, TO WORSHIP AND TO UNITY"

Finally, how would you like to address the Muslims in Turkey?

The people of Turkey have always been supporters of Palestine, Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa and have stood by them. We pray for this noble people to attain perfect faith, stability, victory and abundance and wish them a peaceful life. May Allah Almighty protect the state and people of Turkey from all kinds of evil. Our request from this great people is to always be ready for the Jerusalem cause, the Masjid al-Aqsa cause and their brothers and sisters living in Palestine, no matter the circumstances. Let them not break their support and ties with Palestinians. In this blessed month of Ramadan, I invite you all to prayer, worship and unity. Let's not forget to pray and support your brothers in Palestine and other oppressed geographies. May Allah Almighty accept our fasts and prayers we do...
