President of Hatay Chamber of Merchants and Craftsmen Abdulkadir Teksöz told our newspaper about the problems of the tradesmen in the region. Noting that the biggest problem is electricity and fuel expenses, Teksöz called on the government to make a regulation on this issue.
“BILLS BROKEN THE BACK OF THE TRADESMEN”
Teksöz stated that the tradesmen have been experiencing great problems in recent years due to the bottleneck and pandemic that the economy has been in lately. On top of all this, Teksöz stated that the high price hikes in the bills increased this grievance even more and said, “Steps must be taken to end this grievance of the tradesmen. We want to extend a helping hand to the tradesmen who are crushed under the bills and make arrangements for high bills.”
"WE SUPPORT EXPO"
Making evaluations about "EXPO 2021 Hatay", which was opened in Hatay on April 1, Teksöz noted that they found EXPO important. Stating that they believe the EXPO fair will contribute to the tradesmen of Hatay, Teksöz added, “As Hatay tradesmen, we support EXPO. We see EXPO as an opportunity for both increasing the brand value of our province and for its economic development.”
