Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made a statement after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş.
Wishing God's mercy to the citizens who passed away and patience to their relatives, Karamollaoğlu stated that their organization became operational after the earthquake took place.
"Sorry for our loss. May God not show such a disaster again," Karamollaoğlu said.
"The earthquake hurt us all deeply. Our friends have been in contact with our organizations and our friends in the region since the early hours of the morning at the headquarters. Some of our friends were assigned to the provinces, and the rest of our friends will be informed about where they will go and where they will be assigned in the coming hours. Of course, such incidents do not happen often, but when it does, it hurts deeply. I wish God's mercy on those who passed away again, and I express my condolences to the relatives of those who passed away. I wish the wounds of this disaster to be healed as soon as possible," Karamollaoğlu added.
