Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu held a regular weekly press conference. Saadet leader, who made evaluations on the issues on the agenda, made important statements on many issues, especially politics.
"WE DID NOT ASK FOR THE SEAT WITH IGNORING ETHICS AND JUSTICE OF MİLLİ GÖRÜŞ POLICY"
Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, who started the press conference by stating that the election agenda was left behind, noted that the 2023 elections will not be forgotten despite the fact that many years have passed due to the most abnormal race of the last 40-50 years in terms of propaganda.
Emphasizing the difficulty of standing against the media power, perception and manipulations of the 21-year power, Karamollaoğlu said, "It is important to achieve success, but what motives you act and what values you refer to while achieving this success are at least as valuable and important as the success itself. In our belief and understanding of politics, there is no place for the logic of 'whatever we do, let's win', and it can never be. Neither our late leader, Erbakan, nor those of us who were involved in politics under the umbrella of Milli Görüş, never did politics with this logic. It was easy to do this, it could have brought us power alone, but we were not concerned about getting seats by ignoring morality and justice. Because how you come to power and how you maintain that power is as important as being in power."
“INNOVATION IS NOT MADE WITH WORDS, BUT WITH ACTIONS”
Continuing his words by emphasizing that the AK Party government and President Erdogan have no excuses, Karamollaoğlu underlined that the government should not continue the wrong policies it has implemented.
Saadet leader, regarding the new cabinet announced by President Erdoğan recently, "As we always say, we criticize the system, not the individuals. Our concern is; It is not who operates the loom, but that the loom does not produce defective goods. That's why; We do not find it appropriate to make a positive or negative assessment about the names who took office in this term. In addition, in the Presidential Government System, as he himself puts it, there is a person responsible for everything. He is also Mr. Erdogan. Therefore, the addressee of our criticism will be directly President Erdoğan. I express by emphasizing; Just saying new is not new. Innovation should be in essence, not in words. It should not be with words, but with actions. Changing names means nothing unless the policies change. The important thing is to change the policies and mentality. It does not mean anything to us that neither the Speaker of the Parliament, the vice-president nor any of the ministers made politics under the same roof with us yesterday. It concerns us what they do today, how they do it, and what they do tomorrow," Karamollaoğlu added.
“SAADET PARTY WILL CARRY THE REAL AGENDA OF THE NATION TO THE ASSEMBLY”
Karamollaoğlu continued his words as follows:
"We will support every step that will be for the benefit of the nation, together with all our cadres, especially our 10 deputies who took office in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and we will stand against the smallest wrong that will be against them and hold them accountable. As the Saadet Party, we are determined to assume a much more active and effective role in the new period. We will express the real agenda of our nation in the rostrum of the Assembly and on all grounds. It will focus on the urgent and pending problems of our country, which are deepening day by day; We will not allow them to be covered up with perceptions and artificial agendas. We continue our struggle for a 'livable Türkiye'. For half a century, we have not been, and will not be, one of those who 'fall asleep on the watch' nor 'leave the guard' when faced with difficulties."
