Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made evaluations on the agenda at the press conference he held.

Karamollaoğlu stated that October started with an intense pace both as a country and as a party, and underlined that the events experienced occurred faster than the predictions.

Karamollaoğlu stated that the meeting of the six opposition party, hosted by the CHP on October 2, was the first meeting of the new term, and stated that they believed that the candidate to be determined by the table would be the 13th President of Turkey.

Reminding the government's target of reducing inflation to single digits for 2023, Karamollaoğlu said, "Those in power said, 'We will reduce inflation to single digits'. How is inflation now? Dreams are single digit inflation, reality is triple digit inflation."

"THE GOVERNMENT FAILS TO FULFILL ITS PROMISES"

Reminding the promises made by the government for 2023, Karamollaoğlu drew attention to the fact that the government, which is very generous about the promises made, is not so generous in realizing it, and listed the promises given:

  • The first promise of the government was to be in the top 10 economies of the world. We were among the top 16 economies in the world when this promise was made, but now there is a debate about being in the top 20 by 2023.
  •
  • The second promise was to permanently reduce inflation to single digits, even the figure prepared by TUIK is 83.45 percent! So dreams are single digit inflation, but reality is triple digit inflation!
  •
  • The third promise was to increase our exports to 500 billion dollars. It was not possible for the export target to reach even half of what was promised. The total exports for the first nine months of 2022 is $165.6 billion.
  •
  • The fourth promise was to increase our per capita national income to 25 thousand dollars. What happened now? In the 2023-2025 Medium Term Program published with the signature of the President, this figure has been revised and it is predicted that the per capita income will be 10,067 dollars by the end of 2023.
  •
  • The fifth promise was to reach an economy size of at least $2 trillion. What happened? According to the 2023-2025 Medium Term Program; The estimated national product for 2023 remained at 867 billion dollars, we could not even find 1 trillion dollars.

“WE WILL CROWN THE PREPARATIONS FOR THE ELECTIONS AND THE POWER WITH THE CONGRESS”

Pointing out that Saadet Party's High Advisory Board, General Administrative Board and Provincial Presidents' Meetings were held in the past weeks, Karamollaoğlu reminded the congress decision taken as a result of the meetings.

"As required by law, we will hold the 8th Ordinary Grand Congress of our Saadet Party on Sunday, October 30, with a wide participation, enthusiasm and excitement. I hope that this congress, where we will crown our work on 'preparation for elections and power', will bring blessings to our party, our nation and our country," he added.

“OUR PARTY WILL GET MORE STRENGTH WITH THIS CONGRESS”

Stating that the excitement of the party organization will be reinforced with the congress to be held, Karamollaoğlu pointed out that their work will also accelerate.

"For a Turkey where a humane life is possible and a humane life, we will continue on our way with more determination and determination than ever before. I hope that our congress, which we will hold with the participation of our members of the organization and our citizens from 81 provinces and 922 districts, will strengthen our excitement and increase our determination and effort. We believe that our party, which will be a powerful actor in the new era, will become much stronger with this congress," he stated.

“POWER IS MARKETING WRONG POLICIES LIKE A GREAT SUCCESS STORY”

Pointing out that there is corruption, corruption and corruption in every field in Turkey, Karamollaoğlu stated that it is not possible for the ruling party to remain in power due to its mistakes.

"It is not possible for a government that loves its country and is at the level of understanding and accepting the responsibility of its actions to stay in power even for a moment in the face of such failure and the poverty and high cost of living that it has condemned to our nation. In fact, what he has to do is take his jacket and say, 'I couldn't handle this job,' and pull out on his own. So what's going on right now? The government has made an effort to market all these mistakes as a great success story, let alone admit its mistakes and give account of its responsibilities. They attribute the problems to the foreign powers' attack on the economy, to the cooperation of the domestic powers, to their vile desires for life, to ungodliness, and they talk about an economy model that is supposedly unique to Turkey," Karamollaoğlu said.
