Saadet leader Karamollaoğlu, who made important determinations regarding the country's agenda at the press conference he held at the Saadet Party Headquarters, shared his party's views on many issues, especially politics and economics, with the public.
“POWER NEEDS TO STOP THE POLARIZATION MENTALITY”
Starting his weekly press conference by commemorating the August 30 Victory Day, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu noted that lessons should be learned from the events before and after the victory.
Karamollaoğlu stated that the country needed unity and solidarity once again, as in the 30 August victory.
"Today, our duty is to embrace our common responsibilities by clinging to our beliefs and values, re-establishing our unity and solidarity, and to put an end to polarization and polarization. At this point, first of all, it is necessary for the government to make a change in understanding. It should definitely give up the understanding that tries to show one half of our country as an enemy to the other half. This distorted understanding that considers the opposition as 'terrorists', our people who vote for opposition parties as 'traitors', and everyone who does not think like them as 'enemy' should be abandoned. This poisonous language, which contains a lot of lies, slander and insulting sentences, should be abandoned as soon as possible. So far, we have objected not only to this system, but also to this language and this understanding, and we will continue to do so. The President, who should represent 85 million people and who should protect everyone's rights, is trying to squeeze millions of citizens into the bracket of terrorism, just with the thought of winning 3-5 more municipalities in local elections. We have been against this system since 2017 for this reason. We made electoral alliances just to change the system," Karamollaoğlu said.
Underlining that Saadet Party always acts with a constructive opposition understanding, Karamollaoğlu stated that the government does not listen to the discourse of his party on country issues.
"We knew that they would not give up, but if only they had given up on waste and corruption, we would have been wrong. We knew that they would not implement the economy of production and employment, but I wish we had been wrong if they had given up on wrong investments and understandings. We knew that as a continuation of the Iraq invasion and Syria policy, they were looking for a way to take advantage of financial opportunities, not the problems of the Islamic world, and that they were preparing the ground for an understanding that would redraw the borders in the Middle East by assuming the co-chairmanship of the Great Middle East Project. But I wish we had been wrong and they had adopted a 'strong foreign policy'. I wish they had really turned their backs on the interest economy, but we would have apologized to them. I wish they had determined the raise rates that the retired, the minimum wage, workers and civil servants would achieve in their 'humane living' standards, so we would go and thank them wholeheartedly. Our concern is not to be right, but once you have listened to Milli Görüş members and the policies of our Saadet Party, you will be able to find solutions to our country's problems. You thought that the Milli Görüş shirt was too tight for you; Whereas, what actually faded was that you put on oil as a result of your gluttony," Karamollaoğlu added.
“DO YOU HAVE ANY SOLUTIONS OTHER THAN INCREASING INTEREST AND TAXES?”
Karamollaoğlu, who asked questions to the government about the problems of the country.
"What is your plan for rental prices, which caused a major crisis first in metropolitan cities and then in all of our 81 provinces, as well as peace and security problems? Remember, the so-called classrooms were once closed. So what happened now that private school and private tutoring fees have become competitive with each other. Are you just going to keep watching what's going on? Schools will open; It is now very difficult for our young people to be able to pay for the canteen and stationery expenses, the service fee, to find a scholarship and to make a living with that scholarship even if the families do. What steps are you planning to take or are you planning something in this regard? Do you have any other plans besides raising taxes, for example, have you ever thought about giving up waste and corruption?" Karamollaoğlu asked.
“INTEREST BRINGS TROUBLE, NOT FELICITY”
Expressing that the AK Party has once again started to implement the IMF prescription in the economy, Karamollaoğlu stated that they had to go to the gates of the countries that the government declared as enemies to find hot money.
"They cannot and cannot get out of the debt and interest spiral. More interest means more debt. Being in debt means not being able to make independent decisions. The borrower takes orders. First you squandered our resources, then you borrowed on debt. When you couldn't pay the debts, you took a loan with high interest. Now you do what you are told. Your compass is confused. You never mention the word 'how' about interest. Because the economy; It is not only affected by the interest rate. This has always been the case. Interest does not bring happiness, it brings trouble. But you cannot ignore other facts. These facts, you should know, are the policies of Milli Gorus that you abandoned years ago. Corruption is the cause, poverty is the effect. Waste is the cause, debt is the result. Wrong investment understanding is the cause, inflation and unemployment are the result," Karamollaoglu said.
"THE REMEDY IS MİLLİ GÖRÜŞ"
Stating that Saadet Party is ready for every election, Karamollaoğlu continued as follows:
"In fact, the problems and their solutions are obvious. The solution is Milli Görüş, we have the solution recipes, this is the address of hope. We did it yesterday, we will do it again today. Yesterday, we broke new ground in municipality, today we will set much better examples. We have always used the smallest opportunities we had yesterday in favor of our nation, and today we are doing the same; We will continue to do so. With our policies and our staff, we are always ready for any election, and we aspire to govern our cities and our country in the most correct way. We are here with our knowledge and experience of more than half a century, with the same belief, determination and determination."
