Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important evaluations regarding the agenda at the weekly ordinary press conference held at the headquarters of his party.

Stating that the stores were locked due to economic difficulties in 2020, Karamollaoğlu said, “If a state closes the shop of its tradesmen, it has to announce the support packages before the decision to close it. Currently, our tradesmen cannot pay their workers' wages and tax debts besides being closed. The government should not leave the shopkeepers alone”.

Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important statements about the alliance discussions on the agenda and said, “I want to say it very clearly. The topic of alliance is a topic to be discussed only when the election period begins. Saadet Party speaks principles, not individuals. "When the time comes, we will decide on the alliance within the framework of these principles." On the other hand, Karamollaoğlu condemned the attack on the Turkish ship by pirates off the coast of Nigeria and said, “I wish God's mercy on our sailor who lost his life as a result of the attack. I hope that our 15 seafarers who have been taken hostage will be rescued safely as soon as possible”.

"I CONDEMN THE PIRATE ATTACK"

Karamollaoğlu, who started his speech by condemning the attack on the Turkish ship by pirates off the coast of Nigeria, said, “I wish God's mercy on our sailor who lost his life as a result of the attack. I hope that our 15 sailors who were taken hostage will be rescued safely as soon as possible”.

"CORRECTED DECISIONS SHALL BE MADE ABOUT EDUCATION"

Commenting on the semester break, Karamollaoğlu said, “I congratulate our teachers who worked devotedly during the pandemic process, and our students and parents who went through a difficult process. While the government is making a decision regarding the next education and training process, the voices and decisions of the administrators of the provinces and districts should be heard. Correct steps must be taken.”

THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO MOTIVATION TO REFORM

Speaking about the judiciary and economic reform, which the government often brings to the agenda, Karamollaoğlu noted that the justice, economy and democracy in the country are deformed. Karamollaoğlu continued his words as follows:

"We think that the government is now losing its morale and motivation to reform the country. Of course there is a need for reform in justice, but this reform should be done in mentalities, not laws. A reform must be made from scratch in the devastated economy. Consumption and waste should be abandoned and production should be returned. Another issue that needs reform is democracy. Turkey should get rid of the absolute control of the presidential system."
