Saadet Party leader Temel Karamollaoğlu, who participated in the "Agenda Turkey" program broadcast on TV5 screens, evaluated the road map of the Nation Alliance, the latest developments in politics and political developments, especially the earthquake disaster.
“I AM SATISFIED THAT THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE GETS TOGETHER”
Journalist Mustafa Yılmaz asked Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu about the political developments on the agenda in the TV5 program "Agenda Turkey".
Saadet leader, regarding the last crisis of the Nation Alliance, "In fact, we have worked very well together so far. until the last day. But in some cases, some differences may arise. You cannot completely eliminate it. We have different policies and ambitions. While we are doing this, conflicts arise and there are also negotiations or arguments. These arguments can be tough, but this should not be understood as a fight. At the end, it is sat, talked and declared. We made a decision and agreed. I hope we will get a good result," Karamollaoğlu said.
“INTERNAL ALLIANCE FORMULA IS ON OUR AGENDA”
Saadet leader Karamollaoğlu, on the alliance formula in order to obtain the majority in the parliament, apart from the determination of the joint presidency, said, "I attach great importance to the establishment of an electoral alliance between the newly formed Future and Deva Party and the Saadet Party. I conveyed this to the party leaders as well. When the three parties separately enter the elections, the vote levels we will receive appear in one way or another in the polls. A maximum of 3/4 deputies can be removed. However, when we come together, we have the opportunity to be represented by 30-40 deputies in the parliament. The AK Party has lost more than 15 percent of its voters since a year ago. They searched for a place to go, partially intended for a certain place, but still 5 to 7 percent of these voters are looking for an address. I just said that if we come together in an alliance, we can get 30-40 deputies, but with the synergy it will create, we can increase it to 130-140."
Speaking about the criticisms about the parliamentary bargaining, Karamollaoğlu promised that the Saadet Party would enter the elections in 81 provinces.
“AK PARTY HOPE TO BENEFIT FROM TENSION”
Speaking about the attacks on Saadet Party, Karamollaoğlu said, "If I hope that the AK Party will benefit from the tension at this point, it will do its best. Because it goes on benefit-harm. This benefit is not to the country to its own political party. However, this tension harms the country. Our goal is to provide an environment where people with opposing views living in this country can live together in peace and tranquility. As politicians, we need to stay away from attitudes that will cause tension in such matters."
“I THINK THEY CAN SEE THEIR MISTAKES”
On some recent statements, Karamollaoğlu said, "These friends of ours are making our Erbakan teacher's bones ache with their attitude. Unfortunately, these friends of ours are ignorant, I have to say it like that. He talks as if he knows, but he doesn't even realize who is under his influence. Beware, those who talk like this can go on TRT. It shows up in opposition channels to us. We cannot have our own advertisement published on TRT, even though we pay a normal political announcement. I think these friends will be able to see their mistakes in time. If there is good intention, if there is bad intention, it does not change. If the AK Party uses them, they will continue to use them until the last moment, but these friends have no influence on our base."
“I PROMISE THAT WE WILL NOT GIVE UP ON OUR GAINS”
Saadet leader also spoke about the conservatives' fear of losing their gains.
"We and all our other friends make a commitment that no concessions will be made here. Kılıçdaroğlu himself made this commitment. Therefore, no one should worry, neither imam hatip schools nor the headscarf issue, nor any of them will be prevented from taking office in the state. Some say let's ban the congregations, you can't ban the congregation. This type of output is due to biased movements in some places. I promise that no concessions will be made on any gain, especially on the issues we have mentioned", he added.
“MİLLİ GÖRÜŞ ORGANIZATIONS DO THE MOST REGULAR WORK”
Speaking about the earthquake disaster that shook Turkey deeply, Karamollaoğlu referred to the works of Milli Görüş organizations.
"Our organizations have been mobilized since the evening of the first day. They declared mobilization with our organizations in order to bring some aid to those regions. We have been present in every province, in most of the districts. Our friends, the most important issue is tent, food, clothing, toilets etc. However, when these issues were brought to the agenda, our Milli Görüş organizations did the most regular work. For this, I owe a debt of gratitude to both our party members and the members of Milli Görüş organizations. They are still working today, trying to reach everywhere," Karamollaoğlu stated.
