Saadet Party leader Temel Karamollaoğlu made important statements regarding the agenda at the weekly regular press conference of his party. At the press conference held at Saadet Party Headquarters, Karamollaoğlu evaluated justice and current issues, especially the economy.
Karamollaoğlu stated that the Turkey's Statistical Agency (TURKSTATS) figures do not match the market prices and continued as follows:
"It does not befit the state to declare figures that do not reflect the facts. Turkey is not condemned to this bad course. Today, there is a dirty relationship between the mafia, the government and the media in our country. There is the destruction of people's property and hotels by mafia ways. There is blackmail, there is immorality to all institutions and to all the capillaries of the state. There are slander, lies and smear campaigns in our country today. The power has the media and the powerful has the law."
"WE HAVE ENTERED THE PANDEMIC ECONOMY PERIOD"
Karamollaoğlu, referring to the successive hikes in July, "In one night, electricity was increased by 15 percent, natural gas by 12 percent, LPG by 15 percent and student fees by 10 percent. All of a sudden, we were faced with a tremendous rain of raises. July has become to search for June with candles. Unfortunately, we cannot open our eyes to the new day without the news of the raise. First the price hikes that come like a torrential rain; now it has turned to hail and storm. After the first day of normalization in the pandemic, we seem to have entered an 'economic pandemic' period. The raises come one after another. Almost every day, we open our eyes with the news of the hike. Increases in a product within a year were one hundred percent," he said.
