Felicity (Saadet) Party President Temel Karamollaoğlu was the guest of the Alarm Clock program broadcast on Fox TV yesterday. Karamollaoğlu connected to the program via video call from Ankara, discussed foreign policy and political issues.

Karamollaoğlu, "They (ruling party) openly to declare bankruptcy, they do not pay the debts. We filled the budget deficit we had planned until the end of this year in July. The treasure is full. In such an environment of Turkey's economic problems resolved say that is just a perception operation." he said.

Evaluating the developments in the economy, Karamollaoğlu said, "The rise of the dollar today, the increase in prices and the increase in unemployment with each passing day are not actually a reason. It is a result. There have been some people who said that we wish we had bought it in dollars after Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak said "Do you get your salary in dollars?" Because the value of the money in your pocket would remain constant. Lack of planning is at the root of the economic crisis that we are dragged into today's fluctuations in exchange rates. Of course, competence and merit is a very important issue. Qualified people make plans. The biggest problem of the economy is lack of planning. Issues such as where we will spend our money, how we will earn income and how to prevent unemployment, all require a plan." he added.

Stating that taxes should be lifted in order for the farmer to produce cheaply, Karamollaoğlu said, "Only tomato prices do not increase. Potatoes and onions are rising in the same way. So why? Because there are no plans. If you do not direct the farmer in agriculture, you cannot provide productivity. You need to tell the farmer what to plant with general, regional and crop-based plans. If you do not direct, all farmers will plant tomatoes or vice versa, no one will produce tomatoes. Prices fly and go. If the farmer does not gain any profit from his work, he gives up cultivation. This is our biggest problem. They may say I am not responsible for these. It is true that irresponsible people do not know what responsibility means. Of course, imports can be made when appropriate. However, if you import continuously, then agriculture will not develop in your country. If we want to improve the economy, first of all, we need to give importance to agriculture, animal husbandry and food production." he said.
