Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu spoke at the "Nation Gathering" program held in Diyarbakır.
Karamollaoğlu pointed out that the elections are approaching and stated that the atmosphere of Turkey will change significantly with the elections to be held.
Karamollaoğlu stated that all the problems in Turkey will be resolved as well, and underlined that the government will change on May 14 after the steps taken.
Underlining that the establishment of justice is the priority in order to ensure peace all over the world, Karamollaoğlu stated that the definition of this is with the revival of moral and spiritual values,
"Moral and spiritual values are not just a feeling of shame, they are a whole. Justice is its most prominent feature. The country cannot find peace without justice. It is followed by honesty, followed by a sense of trust, and in the state, especially when appointing people to positions that will solve the nation's problems, it is necessary to give importance to merit. No distinction should be made," Karamollaoğlu said.
“IF PEOPLE CAN'T MAKE A BIG LIVING, IT MEANS THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM”
Emphasizing that the citizens should have enough income to meet their needs, Karamollaoğlu stated that it is a priority for the state to ensure that its citizens are in a situation where they can earn their living.
"The state should absolutely and absolutely ensure that everyone in a country has enough income to make a living. If in any way there are not enough people among people or our people who are self-supporting, it means that there is a very serious problem here. We absolutely have to do this. If you want to ensure this in a country of 85 million people, you have to make investments that will provide job opportunities to people in every field. First of all, if we have land owners, field owners, pasture owners, they have to earn their income and livelihood from these places. The state has to ensure this so that the people living in the country are happy and prosperous," Karamollaoğlu added.
“STEP BY STEPS WE LOSE OUR FEATURE OF BEING A STRONG COUNTRY”
Expressing that the citizens lost many opportunities during the 20-year AK Party rule, Karamollaoğlu noted that the citizens had difficulties with the privatization of the state-owned business doors.
"At many points, state facilities, lands and industrial facilities were completely sold. The private sector and individuals could not fill the void created by the sale of these. As such, we unfortunately lost our feature of being a strong country step by step. This also means: our people have not been able to find a peaceful opportunity in their own lands. Unemployment numbers have skyrocketed. When we look at the numbers today, it seems as if unemployment is less, but nobody takes this into account. Today in Turkey, we have 10, 11 or even 12 million people who make a living by benefiting from social assistance. What does this mean? These people cannot work, they do not work. They are just trying to make a living with a few cents given by the state. When you add these, the unemployment figures in Turkey are much higher than the ones expressed. There is an unemployment rate of around 10-15%, not 3% or 4%, in Turkey. If you want to eliminate this, you cannot overcome it with today's measures, on the contrary, unemployment will increase," Karamollaoğlu stated.
“WE HAVE TO FOLLOW A STRONG FOREIGN POLICY”
Drawing attention to the need to determine new policies in foreign policy, Karamollaoğlu stated that it is necessary to take steps with the Muslim countries in our region first.
"We have to follow a 'strong foreign policy', first with our neighbors and then with the rest of the world. This is our opinion that the first step in this regard is that we have to get closer with the countries in the region we are in. Who are these countries, these countries are Muslim countries. There are steps taken in this regard, there are established institutions. Here is where is the Islamic Union, in Jeddah, 57 countries have come together to form a union, but there is no difference between its existence and its absence. Here is an organization established from Indonesia to Nigeria, which we call D-8. But there is no difference between presence and absence. Because unfortunately, no one in Turkey gives these institutions, these associations the opportunity to stand up and say that we exist," Karamollaoğlu said.
“WORKING PEOPLE CANNOT MAKE A LIFE OF THEIR OWN”
Expressing that the elections to be made will be carried out with important decisions, Karamollaoğlu stated that people cannot make a living.
"When we cast our votes on May 14, the unemployed person is saying, 'friend, do I want a job or not?'. He will vote in that direction. Or if he can't make a living, 'Do I want to get a wage enough to make a living or do I not'. He will use his game. Working people are not able to make a living on their own. There is a strangeness in our Turkey, they cannot break it. The only one who broke it was our teacher Erbakan, may God have mercy on him. What are these minimum wage negotiations? The state is coming to a point, what should the minimum wage be? In other words, an industrialist or an employer cannot pay a wage below this figure, the level of this figure is not mentioned as a hunger limit, in other words, a person who earns wages at the hunger line will only feed his family but cannot afford to meet any of his other needs. Who will pay the electricity bill? Who will pay for the gas? Who will pay for the child's shoes? Who will pay the child's school fees? Currently, the hunger limit has exceeded 10 thousand liras. The state has now set a new minimum wage to the minimum wage; 8 thousand 500 TL. Fear God. You don't even pay enough to feed him. With such a logic, can justice be achieved in the distribution of income in Turkey?" Karamollaoğlu asked.
