Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu accepted Amanullah Jayhoon, Afghanistan's Ambassador in Turkey, at the headquarters of the party.
Speaking here, Karamollaoglu `The Afghan people passed through a distressing process, but Turkey was always beside Afghanistan.` he said.
Karamollaoğlu emphasized that the visit will contribute to further strengthening the relations between the two countries.
`Afghanistan's contributions to Turkey, especially during the War of Independence and World War I, will not be forgotten.` he added.
Amanullah Jayhoon stated that he could not attend the party congress because he was out of Turkey and he wished Karamollaoğlu to succeed in his new position.
