“GOVERNMENT PLAYS 'ALİ CENGİZ' GAME”
Karamollaoğlu, the government played a full Ali Cengiz game, saying, “You know; No agreement has yet been reached during the bargaining process involving more than 3 million civil servants and 2 million retired civil servants. The government did not accept the offer of 4 + 4 percent for 2020 and 3 + 3 percent for 2021, and the matter was moved to the Ground Jury. However, the information we have acquired about the collective bargaining process is not reasonable. The government plays a complete Ali Cengiz game. During the 20-day negotiations, the public employers' delegation and trade unions agreed on many issues other than the raise rate", he said.
Karamollaoğlu called for the government to be based on transparency, "However, during these meetings, the trade union delegation did not accept the proposals although they wanted to record the agreed articles. At the end of the non-agreement process, the employer committee wants to take the agreed clauses to the Arbitration Committee. This means that; The rights gained for 20 days are taken back from the hands of the public servants! The servants who does not accept the misery hike offered is shown to stick under the aba if the statement is in place. I appeal to power, do not take the rights of the officer! Collective agreements should be based on transparency. Don't bring the agreed issues to the referee by making them seem unreconciled", he added.
