Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu attended the 12th Annual Congress of the Islamic Union Forum organized by the theme of "Managing Islam Life" in the capital of England. Mr. Hasan Bitmez accompanied President of Saadet Party Karamollaoğlu.
Karamollaoğlu said that developed countries are facing a world view exploiting developing countries, and noted that when the interests of exploiting countries are concerned, they are raising conscience, justice and human rights. Karamollaoğlu pointed out that there will be no peace and rest in the world with this understanding, "If peace and tranquility are sincerely desired in the world, it turns out that a different understanding is needed. We believe that Muslims, Islamic understanding will play a very important role in world peace."
Karamollaoğlu stated that Western countries are trying to reconcile Islam with terrorism through the concept of "Jihad", 'We are trying to prepare an environment that will be experienced in peace and freedom, respect for basic human rights and goodness as a judge, an effort to prevent evil'. Jihad is not a armed struggle; it is a person's effort to work with all the power, to strive, to keep the right superior. This is only a simple element when fighting with guns is needed. That is why it is never right to identify terrorism with jihad."
Referring to Islam and Muslims, this understanding is an obstacle to world peace. Karamollaoğlu said: "If the perceptions of this mentality are broken and Islamic principles are understood and applied, then our world will attain peace and harmony. People will swell to Islam. However, the Western mentality is doing its best to overcome it."
