Speaking at the meeting, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu and Future (Gelecek) Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu made evaluations about the agenda.
Statements were made regarding the Israel-Gaza war, 50+1 discussions and economic problems.
“DOES CHILD MURDER INCLUDE THE RIGHT TO SELF DEFENSE?”
Speaking at the group meeting, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu drew attention to the massacres carried out by Israel in Gaza and underlined that similar scenes were not encountered in the world.
"Today, we all see how homes, hospitals and houses are being bombed before our eyes. However, an understanding that sees it as important for them to murder children, bomb schools and attack everywhere is considered normal, especially in the Western world. Everyone has the right to defend themselves. Does child murder fall within the right to self-defense?" Karamollaoğlu asked.
“THE STATE OF THOSE WHO RULE US HURTS US EVEN MORE”
Speaking about the unity between Islamic countries, Karamollaoğlu reacted to the silence of the rulers in Islamic countries.
"They are organizing festivals while Palestine is being bombed. If we are in this situation, we need to put aside the words we said about the West. Woe to us if the people at the helm of the countries we consider to be our brothers have lost their sensitivity. The situation of those who govern us hurts us more. The government does not take any effective steps on its part. He has the opportunity to intervene when necessary. Mr. President has different attitudes. People hold rallies when the government does not fulfill its duty. From where? To warn. So why does the government hold rallies? It is impossible to understand this," Karamollaoğlu added.
“WE SHOULD CLOSE THE BASES”
Drawing attention to the work initiated by the Saadet Party Women's Branch, Karamollaoğlu reminded that the USA and NATO have dozens of bases and listening devices in Turkey.
"Our women's branches started an effort to close the US and NATO bases in Turkey. There are dozens of listening stations in Turkey. We must at least close down all bases that are considered effective, such as Incirlik. We should not give them this opportunity," Karamollaoğlu said.
“INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS HAVE LOST ALL THEIR POWER”
Drawing attention to the Western silence against the attacks, Karamollaoğlu underlined that Western countries have returned to their old cruel identity.
"International organizations have lost all their power, the Islamic world has fallen into impotence, and Turkey has failed. This is the greatest atrocity we have experienced in this century. I believe that anything bigger would be the end of the world," Karamollaoğlu said.
