Occupied Israel's attacks in Gaza, which have been continuing for more than 7 months, were protested with a march in Fatih.
The march, supported by many non-governmental organizations as well as IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, started in front of Fatih Mosque after the evening prayer.
Tens of thousands of people participated in the march that lasted until Edirnekapı. Throughout the march, slogans such as "Murderer Israel, get out of Palestine", "Murderer Israel, collaborator USA", "Long live the global intifada" were shouted and takbirs were chanted.
The program in Edirnekapı, the destination of the walk, started with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
“WE RECEIVED APPROVAL FOR AT LEAST 20 SHIPS TO PASS THROUGH REFAH”
Referring to the Freedom Flotilla in the press release, IHH President Bülent Yıldırım said, "Some people say to us, you took the ships, what happened? We had three goals. One is to ensure that aid comes from Welfare. I give the good news. We received approval from IHH to allow at least 20 ships to pass through the Rafah Gate. Our first ship will depart in two or three days, go to Arish and enter through the Rafah Gate. The second is to go to Gaza Port and most importantly, to ensure a ceasefire. If these ships were in the Mediterranean, the Gaza issue would be the number one issue and the entire international diplomacy wheel would take action for a ceasefire. From the moment we received the ships, Israeli media said, 'Activists from nearly 100 countries will join the fleet. 'This is a great disaster for Israel,' they said. Yes, this is a disaster for you, our ships will come."
Yıldırım stated that he took the flags of Guinea Bissau from two ships in the fleet as a result of the pressure of America, Israel and England.
"But let me give you the good news, our first ship has set sail. Our ship in Norway is currently at sea. I hope he will be in Germany in a few days. And other ships will join them. The South African president made a statement of support for the ships. The United Nations also made a statement that ships should be protected," Yıldırım said.
“AZERBAIJAN SHOULD STOP FUEL SALES TO ISRAEL”
Reminding the protests of university students in America and Europe in support of Palestine, Yıldırım said, "The young people stood up. The earth is filled with young Palestinian friends. Israeli media says that the fuel flow from the Baku Ceyhan Pipeline has not been interrupted. From here, I call on our sister country Azerbaijan. Stop the flow of fuel to Israel. If that fuel causes the death of children, it is not possible for Azerbaijan to stop even for a second."
“AMERICA AND FRANCE ARE SENDING WEAPONS TO SUPPORT GENOCIDE”
French Law Professor Frank Romano also stated that they want a ceasefire in Gaza.
"I filed a criminal complaint against Netanyahu. Although we started this legal process almost 3 years ago, the international criminal courts did nothing. I am a citizen of America and France. Unfortunately, the states of which I am a citizen are sending weapons to Israel to support genocide. Our governments still do nothing to stop the genocide. As a civil initiative, we will bring food and necessities to Gaza together with IHH," Romano said.
The action ended after a prayer for the Palestinians.
