12 days have passed since Russia's attacks on Ukraine. While the Russian troops were located very close to the capital Kiev, settlements in Irpin, just outside of Kiev, were bombarded.

President of Ukraine Zelensky once again addressed the world. He denied allegations that Russia had hit military targets, describing the bombings of civilian settlements as "deliberate murder". Speaking after the news of heavy bombardments from Kharkov, the country's second largest city, Zelenski criticized the West for being unresponsive.
UKRAINE DEFEATS THE RUSSIAN BATTLESHIP IN THE BLACK SEA
Ukraine claimed that they neutralized a Russian warship in the Black Sea. The Head of the Press Service of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Sergey Bratchuk, reported that a Russian warship was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the port city of Odessa on the Black Sea coast. During the escape from Irpin, Russian forces fired mortar shells near the bridge that civilians used to escape. Three people, two of them children, from the same family lost their lives in the attack. Ukraine announced that 9 people, 5 of them civilians, were killed in the attack on the Vinnitsia military airport by Russia. In the statement made by the Ukraine Emergency Situations Service Vinnitsia Regional Directorate, it was stated that 6 people who were under the Vinnitsya airport debris were rescued as of March 7 at 07.00.
RUSSIA GATHERS SYRIAN FIGHTERS
Russia allegedly recruited some Syrian foreign fighters who had experienced urban warfare to take them to fight in Ukraine. Evaluating the issue to the newspaper, 4 US officials claimed that Russia gathered these people to take foreign fighters from Syria, after the possibility of urban wars in Ukraine, especially in Kyiv, increased.
20 THOUSAND 'WARRIORS' APPLIED TO UKRAINE
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba announced that about 20 thousand people from abroad applied to fight against Russia in the ranks of Ukraine.
