Expressing that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan should cut ties with Israel, “The invitation of murderer Herzog to Turkey has deeply hurt our nation. Pointing out that the leaders of Muslim countries are competing on the issue of normalization with Israel, Kanat underlined that Islamic countries should react instead of normalizing, and said, “We regret to see that Muslim leaders are competing for cooperation instead of reacting to terrorists. Our Turkey is not in need of Zionist Israel on any issue at the moment. Emphasizing that Turkey's normalization with Israel will not bring anything but occupation and massacre to Palestine, Kanat called for Israel's demands not to be accepted.
