A Candidate Promotion Meeting was held at Necip Fazıl Theater Hall by the Saadet Party Keçiören District Headquarters.
Speaking at the program held with great enthusiasm and intensity, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu underlined that the results of the upcoming elections are important and stated that the important thing is that the citizens worry about their problems.
Underlining that the basis of Milli Görüş municipalism is dedication, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu stated that the municipality approach of the Milli Görüş movement started in 1984.
As local elections approach, candidates of the Saadet Party, the only representative of the Milli Görüş movement, continue their work in the field.
While the Keçiören Candidate Promotion Meeting was held by the Saadet Party Keçiören District Headquarters at the Necip Fazıl Theater Hall, the program was held with great enthusiasm and intense participation.
The program started after the reading of the National Anthem.
“THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO CONFRONT WITH THE PROBLEMS OF THE CITIZENS”
Underlining that the basis of Milli Görüş municipalism is dedication, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu stated that the municipality approach of the Milli Görüş movement started in 1984.
"We were elected in 1989 with a great breakthrough. We won the mayoralty in 5 provinces. The services provided here were so adopted by our nation that there was an explosion in 1994. In 1994, we won the mayoralty in 29 places, including Istanbul and Ankara. Mayorships in hundreds of districts and towns were given to our friends. The most important issue in Milli Görüş municipalism is dedication. The citizens you will serve in your district and town will be able to reach you at any time. Dedication is when a mayor dedicates himself to his country and the municipality he was elected to. The important thing is to worry about the problems of its people and citizens," Karamollaoğlu said.
“IMPORTANT STEPS SHOULD BE TAKEN ON WATER”
Drawing attention to the water problem that will be experienced in Ankara, Karamollaoğlu called for a solution.
"Currently, Kızılırmak water is used. Only then does the city become livable. Of course, parks and gardens should be built for our children in our cities. Of course, areas for sports should be built. Of course, stronger ties should be established between municipalities and universities. But now important steps must be taken regarding water and sewerage," Karamollaoğlu added.
GÜNEŞ: “ANOTHER ANKARA IS POSSIBLE”
Saadet Party Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Cafer Güneş, who stated that Turkey needs a municipal approach that does not focus on formal structure, stated that they will implement many projects in Ankara.
"The 2024 budget of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is 90 quadrillion liras in old money. We think that this budget is insufficient for a capital city. We will be planned and programmed with this budget. We will be accountable and give the job to the competent people. With people who are experts in municipality, we will ensure that it becomes the capital of Turkey and the most beautiful city in Europe. The 2024 budget of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality also corresponds to 4 sunken Ankaparks. 1/4 of the municipal budget was invested in a bad investment. The name of the Ankapark project is crazy project. As Milli Görüş municipality, we will not do crazy projects. Another Ankara is possible. We will create an Ankara where everyone feels safe 24 hours a day. We will manage with a management that everyone can participate in," Güneş said.
