The Kremlin will press the button for a ‘big and secret’ investigation into the military on Thursday. After Alexander Dugin's daughter, Darya Dugina, was assassinated with a bomb on August 20, the Kremlin will launch a remarkable investigation into the incident.
MILITARY BUREAUCRACY ATTRACTED ATTENTION
While a significant part of Russia blamed Ukraine for the assassination, the National Republican Army claimed responsibility for the attack. After the anti-Putin group took over the action, the eyes were turned to the tense civil and military bureaucracy relations after the Ukraine War. Considering the civilian bureaucracy as ‘incompetent’, the military bureaucracy was included in the agenda of the investigation after the attack.
INVESTIGATION TEAM SELECTED BY PUTIN
The investigative team, selected by Russian President Vladimir Putin, will investigate all personnel of the Russian army forces, from insignia to the highest-ranking soldier. The so-called 'great and secret investigation' will be launched on Thursday. In the first stage of the investigation, the background of all Army personnel and their families will be scrutinized by the investigative team.
THE ARMY WILL BE WATCHED CLOSELY
After the desk leg of the investigation, the close monitoring phase will begin. Soldiers of Ukrainian origin will be marked with a red pen in the face-to-face investigation. In addition, members of the military who have received education abroad or have relatives abroad and who are thought to be close to liberal ideas will also be included in the close mark. Information about the investigation will be transferred to Putin, line by line, moment by moment. Members of the military, who will be closely marked, will also be subjected to face-to-face investigations at Putin's orders.
