The 15th Bridge of Fraternity program, led by the Association of Religious Officials (Din-Bir-Der), in cooperation with the Madrasah Scholars Foundation (MEDAV) and the Trabzon Federation of Quran Courses Associations, has started. The convoy, consisting of approximately 100 professors and madrasah students from 6 provinces in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Region, reached Konya from Diyarbakır by two buses. Within the framework of the 8-day program, Konya, Bursa, Çanakkale and Istanbul will be visited.
MEETING WITH THE LOCAL PROTOCOL IN KONYA VISIT
The convoy gathered in Konya, and after the visit to the Mevlana Tomb in Konya, they met with city administrators and various segments of society in Konya.
Konya Governor Vahdettin Özkan, Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, Necmettin Erbakan University Rector Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu and Vice President of Religious Affairs Dr. Burhan İşliyen attended the meeting, Konya Provincial Mufti Prof. Dr. Ali Öge, NGO Konya Platform President Prof. Dr. Önder Kutlu, Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Theology Teaching. Member Orhan Çeker and representatives of some political parties also took part.
In the program, Din-Bir-Der Chairman Muhittin Hamdi Yıldırım, MEDAV Chairman Muhammed Tayyip Elçi, Din-Bir-Der Konya Branch President Abidin Yalman also addressed the participants.
THE PROGRAM WILL CONTINUE WITH CANAKKALE AND ISTANBUL
After visiting Konya and Bursa, the delegation, which will also go to the cities of Çanakkale and Istanbul, will visit many historical places with an 8-day program. The delegation, which will also meet with local governments and local NGOs, will return to their hometown after the program.
