Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Agriculture academic staff member Prof. Dr. Yusuf Demir said, "The recent flood disasters have once again shown that Global climate changes and unconscious and uncontrolled interventions to nature in the Black Sea Region are effective in these events," he said.

CAUSE OF DISASTERS BOTH CLIMATE CHANGE AND DESTRUCTION OF NATURE
Stating that global climate change and interventions to nature are effective in these events, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Demir, "Black Sea Region, Turkey, and despite being the world's eye with interventions in nature that mankind has unconsciously done distortions occur. "Uncontrolled hydroelectric power plant (hpp), insufficient and improper rehabilitation works and concreting in stream beds cause damage to nature".
Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Structures and Irrigation Prof. Dr. Yusuf Demir made a statement regarding the flood and overflow disasters that have occurred recently.
Saying that global climate change and interventions to nature are effective in these events, Demir said, "The effect of global climate change and related drought is spreading from south to north, and the reflections of the continental climate in the Black Sea Region are more frequent and clear in recent years. Especially the recent flood disasters have shown once again that global climate changes and unconscious and uncontrolled interventions to nature in the Black Sea Region have an effect on these events".
Making statements after the flood disaster in Giresun, AKP Deputy Head of Local Governments Mehmet Özhaseki made the following statement, despite having been in power for 18 years:
"Everyone is destroying nature. As we destroy nature, the balance of nature is disrupted. Nature also returns and takes revenge on human beings. On the Black Sea side, there are buildings that have been built for decades in so many streams and places where buildings should not be built. If you ignore them, you will face crying one day tomorrow."
