At the meeting held at the Reşat Moralı Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the demands of the civil servants that the regulation of 3600 additional indicators should cover all public employees and that the injustice regarding the Compensation Reflection Ratio should be eliminated came to the fore. ‘Memur-Sen’ Chairman Ali Yalçın stated that the technical committees of the public administration and the unions affiliated to ‘Memur-Sen’ will periodically consult and convey the expectations of civil servants.
OUR MUTUAL WORK WILL CONTINUE UNINTERRUPTEDLY UNTIL MAY 10
Making a statement after the meeting at the Ministry, Ali Yalçın, Chairman of ‘Memur-Sen’, stated that the additional indicator commission will meet again for the third meeting on May 10, and said, “At the first meeting, a presentation was made by the public administration with data on the current personnel numbers and the additional indicator system. In the second meeting, we conveyed that the regulation for additional indicators should include all civil servants and the unfairness regarding the compensation reflection ratios should be eliminated. Our mutual work will continue uninterruptedly until May 10."
“WE AIM TO SIGN A REVOLUTIONARY REFORM WITH STEPS TO BE TAKEN”
Emphasizing that, as ‘Memur-Sen’ and its affiliated unions, the negotiations will continue to meet the expectations of civil servants, Yalçın stated that they expect a draft on the additional indicator and compensation reflection ratios to be formed on May 10 and added, “The aim is to conclude that the additional indicator system in a way that will produce fair results in accordance with our 6th Term Collective Agreement decision, will produce new products, not to cause new grievances, and to sign a radical reform with the steps to be taken in this regard.”
