The Turkish Grand National Assembly Plan and Budget Committee is being completed today. After the ongoing discussions in the Plan and Budget Committee, the budget will be discussed in the General Assembly of the Parliament. The negotiations, which will start on December 5 at the General Assembly of the TBMM, are planned to end on December 16. The proposal for the 2023 Central Government Budget Law will begin to be discussed at the General Assembly on Monday, December 5th. According to the budget calendar, the budget negotiations will last for 12 days without interruption. The General Assembly will convene nonstop, including Saturdays and Sundays, for budget discussions and will work until it completes its daily schedule.
NEGOTIATIONS WILL BE HELD IN 8 TOURS
Discussions on the entire budget will take place on Monday, December 5th. The negotiations on the budget and final accounts of public administrations will be handled in 8 rounds. The parliament's budget marathon will conclude on Friday, December 16, with speeches and voting on the entire budget. Groups and government speaking times in tours are determined as 60, 65, 70 and 80 minutes depending on the day.
