The 1383th anniversary of the city of Companions, Diyarbakir's honor with Islam, will be celebrated by the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) with a big ceremony on Saturday, May 7th.
The program, which will take place with intense participation from all over Turkey and which will be held face to face after the pandemic period, will start with the Conquest March to be held from the Great Mosque to the Solaiman Mosque at 16.30.
After the march, a conquest program will be held at Fatih Pasha Mosque Square with the participation of AGD-MGV Chairman Salih Turhan.
In the program, there will also be a Quran recitation by Ahmad Abo Al-Qasimi, who is the first in the world to read the Quran, and Dr. Rıfat Ablay, who is the second in Turkey to read the Quran.

Speaking about the conquest program, AGD-MGV Chairman Salih Turhan invited everyone to participate in the program and said following words:
"We will come together on the occasion of the 1383th anniversary of the Conquest of Diyarbakır, one of the important cities of our Islamic geography, the city of prophets and companions. We will fulfill the longing by embracing the Conquest of Diyarbakir, which we have not been able to organize face-to-face for a while due to the pandemic, in our distinguished city Diyarbakir this year, and we will try to better understand the meaning of the conquest. I invite all our people to our program that we will organize on Saturday, May 7th."
