Discussions on the mixed assignment, which was first implemented in 2018 in teacher appointments, still continue. In the last 15,000 teacher appointments, the appointments were made by including the 2020 and 2021 Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) scores. The teachers had gone to court regarding the mixed appointment. One of the 5 lawsuits filed by teachers for the annulment of the mixed assignment, which included the 2020 and 2021 KPSS scores, was concluded in favor of the teachers who were aggrieved by the mixed assignment.
THE EYES OF THE VICTIMS ARE ON THE DECISION OF THE COUNCIL OF STATE
Apart from the case that the Regional Administrative Court has decided in the past few days, the results of the 4 ongoing cases are eagerly awaited, while 3 cases of 2019 victims are still pending before the Council of State regarding the mixed assignment, apart from the 2020 victims. Teachers, who are victims of mixed assignment, again express their request for a special assignment in order to eliminate their grievances.
FIRST DECISION ON APPOINTMENT IN FAVOR OF TEACHERS
At the end of last January, 15,000 teachers were appointed, including the 2020 and 2021 KPSS scores. Discussions on the 15,000 appointments that have been made are still ongoing. 5 lawsuits were filed by victim teachers regarding appointments. One of the lawsuits was concluded recently. The decision was made in the favor of aggrieved teachers. In the case, which was decided by the Ankara 8th Administrative Court, the decision was appealed. Ankara Regional Administrative Court 1st Administrative Case Division reversed the local court's decision. After this decision, the court sent the case file to the Council of State.
