The dollar rose above 6.15 Turkish Lira

In the country, the dollar started the new week with rising. The exchange, which closed last week just below the level of 6.10, continued its upward movement yesterday and went above 6.15.

The euro, which got its share from the rise, also climbed above 6.65.

GOLD AT HIGHEST LEVEL OF 7 YEARS

The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul fell by almost 2.5 percent, dropping to around 114 thousand points. Closing the week with $ 1640, gold recorded a very sharp rise at the opening of the new week and saw the peak of 7 years with $ 1685.
