Exchange rate also hit the health sector! It has been learned that the "Air Ambulance Service", which is one of the most proud services of the government, has been removed in some provinces due to its cost!
It was stated that the Ministry of Health, which previously provided Air Ambulance Service in 16 provinces, removed this service in 5 provinces due to the costs arising from the exchange rate.
While the abolition of the Air Ambulance Service in some provinces revealed the dimensions of the economic crisis, it also revealed that even the service that Erdogan was most proud of was wasted.
SERVICES STOPPED IN 5 PROVINCES
With the economic crisis in Turkey in recent years, the depreciation of the TL against the dollar causes the government to compromise on the services it boasts. The 'Air Ambulance Service', which the government could not finish with praise in election squares and parliamentary rostrums for years, got its share from the economic crisis.
While the cost of the "Air Ambulance Service", which provides service in 16 provinces, has increased considerably due to the rising foreign currency prices, the service has been stopped in 5 provinces. Accordingly, air ambulance service will not be provided in Sivas, Çanakkale, Malatya, Bursa and Afyon. Patients in need of urgent transport in these provinces will have to use the land route from now on.
They even compromised from the service they boasted!
The government's concessions on the Air Ambulance Service, which is constantly mentioned, also reveals the extent of the economic crisis in Turkey. The fact that the government, ignoring the people's cries about the economy, stopped the service they use in every platform, especially in the election campaigns, caused the facts to come to light. It remains to be seen how the government will proceed in the future.
