Citizens began to wait for the steps to be taken, especially for the promise of "base salary will be 22 thousand lira" for civil servants and retirees, the welfare share and inflation difference to the pensioner, and the promises given that the minimum wage would not fall below 500 dollars.

The second round of the presidential election has concluded. AK Party Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan win the election.

Now, the eyes of the citizens are on the promises made. Promises made abundantly before the election and the promises made against the worsening economic data have become the only hope of the citizens.

The ruling wing demanded votes with the promise of multiple improvements in every field before the election.

EXPECTED INCREASE IN CIVIL SERVANTS' SALARIES

While the ruling wing promised an increase in the salaries of the citizens against the economic crisis in all areas before the election, the promises made became expected by the citizens.

The ruling wing, while listing its promises for civil servants' salaries, which came to the fore especially with the increase in public worker salaries before the election, stated that the base civil servant salaries would be 22,000 liras. Civil servants, on the other hand, continue to wait for this increase against the falling purchasing power.

THE RULING PARTY PROMISED FOR RENTAL PRICES ALSO

Although the government came to the agenda with its promises especially for the salaries of the citizens, it also promised for the exorbitantly increasing rent prices.

In the promises that draw attention to the fact that more houses will be produced through TOKİ, it was stated that rent contribution will be given to civil servants living in metropolitan cities. Citizens living in rent began to wait for when this promise would be fulfilled.

MILLIONS RETIREES EXPECTING AN INCREASE

The government, which also made arrangements for retirees before the election, announced that it would also make an arrangement for pensions against the falling purchasing power.

While the base pension was increased to 7,500 TL before the election, with the regulation to be made in July, the pensions of retirees who did not receive a raise are expected to be given an increase in the welfare share, which will be given in addition to the inflation difference.

THE PROMISE OF INCREASE TO THE MINIMUM WAGE IS IN MINDS

The ruling wing, which also promised about the minimum wage, which was increased to 8,500 TL at the beginning of the year, states that the minimum wage should not be less than 500 dollars.

It pointed out that this amount, which is approximately 10,000 TL at today's exchange rate, should be given. Minimum wage workers, on the other hand, are waiting for this increase.
