THE VICTORY THAT COMES CONQUEST AFTER CONQUEST
Shortly after the conquest of Mecca, Diyarbakir was conquered by the great commanders of the Islamic armies in 639 as a result of the war between the Islamic armies and Byzantium. Hundreds of Companions were martyred and buried in the war in which thousands of Companions participated. With the conquest, all the gates of Anatolia were opened to Islam, and in a short period of time, a significant part of Anatolia was honored with Islam.
