İDDEF launched an emergency aid campaign for the disaster victims in Pakistan, who were helpless in the face of flood disasters due to heavy monsoon rains.

The Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF) took action with the emergency aid campaign it launched to support and meet the needs of the people in Pakistan, which faced the worst flood disaster in recent years, where more than 1,200 people died and 10 million people became homeless. While IDDEF continued to distribute hot meals with its teams in the field from the first day of the flood disaster within the scope of the campaign, food packages, tents and other humanitarian aid materials prepared with the donations of philanthropists were delivered to the region by the teams in the region and the Goodness Train, which set off under the coordination of Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD). In the press statement made by IDDEF, it was stated that the support of the benefactors who want to send aid to the disaster area will continue to reach the region. 
 

“WE AIM TO DELIVER FOOD PACKAGES TO VICTIM FAMILIES” 

 
In the press release, which also provided information about IDDEF's activities in Pakistan, it said: “First, we provided hot meals to 1,000 people, while providing food to families who were victims of flooding. We aim to deliver the parcel. Our teams took action to distribute tents and mosquito nets while spraying in the regions against diseases caused by floods. In addition, we took our place on the Goodness Train, which we sent to Pakistan under the coordination of AFAD, and provided flour and basic food supplies. While we continue to stand by our brothers in Pakistan, where the toll of the flood disaster has worsened, we wish Almighty God's mercy on those who passed away and a speedy recovery to our injured brothers.” 
 

“33 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFECTED SO FAR” 

 
In the statement made by IDDEF regarding the aid campaign, “Friendly and brotherly country Pakistan is experiencing the worst flood disaster in recent years. It has been reported that 33 million people have been affected by the flood disaster that has occurred in Pakistan since June 14 due to the effective monsoon rains, the death toll has approached 1,200 and 10 million people have been left homeless. Flooding especially effective in Sindh, Punjab, Karachi, Gilgit Balistan and Balochistan regions. In order to be with our brothers immediately after the disaster, and to heal their wounds even a little bit, our field teams worked for the on-site determination of the necessary materials,” the statement added.
