Finance Minister Naci Ağbal said that the virtual betting has become a social issue and that some illegal organizations in the country and abroad are making betting by creating internet sites in the virtual environment and that the volume of transaction volume is increasing day by day. Justice, Interior, Finance, Youth and Sports ministers emphasized that they had carried out an intense struggle on this issue, warning the citizens of playing illegal betting sites.
"Different images are playing games on these sites, maybe they are given prizes but behind these sites there are criminal organizations, networks that provide illegal profits."
Ağbal, who reminds that they are authorized as Finance Ministry with the increase in the volume of virtual betting, said, "In the scope of virtual betting, we prevent the withdrawal of money in the instant we have an account in the bank. We are following this everyday. We are blocking that money for 7 days" he said.

Agbal said that the resources in the game were transferred to criminal organizations and said, "Especially in the banking system, there was a system called 'pocket-to-pocket money transfer'. When we saw they used it, we took the precaution. As they change the practice, we will continue to go on to them."
Youth and Sports Minister Osman Aşkın Bak said that they had held a technical evaluation meeting on bonus ratios of the games played on the current legal level and said that the high bonus rates on illegal betting sites were attractive.
Agbal stated that the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been working on this issue by looking at applications in different countries. "It seems that the demands on the issue of attracting upwards of the time when we look at applications in other countries are important. They started preparations to arrange technical teams from the two ministries regarding the bonus issue. We will consider it as the government" he said.
