Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been bombed by the terrorist Israeli army since October 7, may continue for months.
"Our goal is a decisive victory against HAMAS. We will kill the HAMAS leadership, so we must continue to be active in every part of the Gaza Strip. I told your commanders a few days ago. I bought a hat with two words on it: Certain victory. This is the essence of our politics. Definitive victory against HAMAS," Netanyahu said.
Prime Minister Netanyahu argued that HAMAS' attacks should not end before its leadership is killed.
"The war must not end before then, but it will last months, not years," Netanyahu added.
Referring to the Israeli prisoners held in Gaza, Netanyahu stated that they would continue to make efforts for them to return home, but "HAMAS has unacceptable demands."
RELATIVES OF THE CAPTIVES WERE NOT ALLOWED TO THE MEETING
Meanwhile, it was stated that the relatives of those held captive in the Gaza Strip were not allowed into the Likud Party's weekly meeting.
It was reported that the relatives of the prisoners, who have been regularly lobbying the Knesset for the release of the prisoners for months, have been trying to enter the meeting for weeks.
Speaking to the Israeli press, Gil Dickmann, whose cousin is held captive in Gaza, said, "Likud is the only party that has not met with us so far."
