The weekly group meeting of the Saadet-Gelecek Party Parliamentary Group was held. Acting Group Deputy Chairman Bülent Kaya, instead of Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, made evaluations regarding the agenda.
While Kaya conveyed his wishes to get well soon to everyone affected by the flood in Antalya on Monday, he also pointed out that there is still no news from the workers who were trapped under the collapse in the gold mine in Erzincan.
“THE GOVERNMENT THINK ABOUT BOSSES' POCKETS BEFORE WORKERS' HEALTH”
Pointing out that the collapse in the gold mine in Erzincan was loud and clear, Kaya stated that precautions could be taken against the disaster.
"Mining accidents occur all over the world, but there is no other country where human life is as worthless as Turkey. The government thinks about the money in the bosses' pockets before workers' health and safety. Turkey's gold mines are being given away to someone at no cost," Kaya said.
“GENOCIDE CONTINUES VISIBLY IN GAZA”
Drawing attention to the upcoming local elections, Kaya stated that there is one and a half month left.
"Candidates are determined, promises are sorted. The election agenda is of course busy, but our people have unchanging agendas. The cost of living comes first among these. In addition, unfortunately, our geography also has an unchanging agenda. Stray Israeli problem! Genocide continues visibly in Gaza. Gaza is not the only one under Israeli bombs; All humanity and human values were left under these bombs! We regret to say that there is no other group that draws as much attention to this issue as the Saadet-future Group. As Saadet-Gelecek Group, we gave our suggestion at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly yesterday to prevent this, as ships come and go in our ports every day. This meeting proposal to cut trade with Israel was rejected by the AKP-MHP votes," Kaya added.
“YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY TO THE WORLD”
Stating that being determined and astute in foreign policy is important for Turkey to be strong, Kaya noted that the government has made interest payments of 563 billion dollars in 20 years.
"If you transfer approximately 20 percent of every 100 lira tax you collect to interest; Of course you can't raise a single word against Israel today! If you do not give up on waste, bribery and corruption and adopt an economic approach focused on production and employment; It is not possible to follow a personal foreign policy! If you do not establish justice in your own country, if you make the legislative, executive and judicial powers conflict with each other, if you put aside the principle of separation of powers and leave everything to be decided between the two lips of a single person; You won't have anything to say to the world, and even if you do, it won't be worth it," Kaya said.
