The Board decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) on the subject was published in the repeated issue of the Official Gazette. 
 
According to the calculations made from the tariff tables in the Official Gazette, an average of 52 percent to 130 percent increase was achieved in electricity tariffs, including taxes and funds, for residential, industrial and commercial subscriber groups.
 
Within the scope of the gradual tariff in electricity, the final price for consumption amounts up to 150 kilowatt-hours per month for residential subscribers will be 1 lira 37 cents per kilowatt-hour, and 2 lira and 6 cents per kilowatt-hour for more than 150 kilowatt-hours. 
 
For residential subscribers, the final prices for consumption amounts up to 150 kilowatt-hours per month in the 1st stage will increase by 50 percent, and the 2nd stage tariff above 150 kilowatt-hours will be 50 percent more than the 1st stage.
 
PASSED TO GRADUAL TARIFF
 
In the written statement made by EPDK, it was stated that the gradual tariff application was started within the scope of the law adopted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), and the following expressions were used:
 
"At this point, a regulation that has become mandatory for the sustainability of energy markets, cost-based pricing and predictability has been made. As of January 1, 2022, with the transition to the efficiency-oriented gradual tariff, the final price for consumption amounts up to 150 kWh per month for residential subscribers is 1.37 TL/ kWh, and 2.06 TL/ kWh for monthly consumptions above 150 kWh. will be applied."
 
ASSURANCE FEES ARE INCREASED
 
According to the EPDK's decision published in the repeated issue of the Official Gazette, assurance fees valid as of January 1, within the scope of the Electricity Market Consumer Services Regulation. According to this, the unit price per kilowatt-hour for industry and business in the assurance fee is 129.6 liras, 45.6 liras for residences, 22.8 liras for families of martyrs and war veterans, and 61.5 liras for agricultural irrigation, lighting and other subscriber groups. . In addition, within the scope of the Procedures and Principles Regarding Meter Control Fees, the cost of directly connected single-phase active or three-phase active and reactive meters was 33.7 lira, and the cost of active and reactive meters with current transformers or voltage transformers was 42.7 liras.
 
CITIZEN'S GAS TIME UP 25%!
 
The tariff table for January has been published on the website of Boru Hatları ve Petrol Taşıma AŞ (BOTAŞ). Accordingly, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to gas distribution companies for residential consumers in January is 1860 liras for one thousand cubic meters of natural gas, an increase of 25 percent compared to the current tariff.
 
In January, the price of one thousand cubic meters of gas increased by 50 percent to 6 thousand 300 liras in the tariff for industrial subscribers with an annual consumption of more than 300 thousand cubic meters, and the tariff for electricity generation increased by 15 percent to 5 thousand 520 liras.
 
Prices for natural gas are calculated on a monthly basis.
