Ebû Bakr Shamsu'l-aimme Mohammed b. Ebî Sahl Ahmad al-Sarahsî had his students write Kitabu'l-Mabsût from the well he was thrown in exactly 14 years, by telling his students.
The 31-volume work El-Mabsût, which was translated by a commission headed by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Cevat Akşit for more than 14 years and published by Gümüşev Publishing, began to appear in bookstores with its 5th corrected edition.
Kitabu'l-Mabsût is a commentary on Al-Kafi based on reliable opinions. Al-Sarahsi made his work "with sound and sunnah-based explanations" "to a degree that would not tire the student".
Al-Mabsût is the first work in Islamic law to make an impartial and systematic analysis of all the views it includes.
It shows the opinions of the mujtahids, the documents of the evidence they base, and the logic they use in making judgments from them, including the opinions of the opposing viewers.
Although he generally reveals the logic of Abu Hanifa's views and the evidence on which he is based, it is also seen that he also includes his own views on some issues.
“Why are there sects?” The answer to the question is contained in the explanations in the work.
In addition, thanks to the scientific explanations of the scholars of Ahl as-Sunnah and the personal views of Imam Sarahsi, the status of interesting ideas that have been put forward today can be evaluated in a healthy way.
To the 5th edition of the work of Mebsût; It can be accessed from many distributors and bookstores, especially the official website of Gümüşev Publishing and the Turkish Religious Foundation bookstores.
