The World Union of Muslim Scholars, United Arab Emirates (UAE), HAMAS and the Houthis in Yemen condemned the burning of the Quran by Rasmus Paludan, the leader of the Danish far-right Strict Direction Party, in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm.
The World Union of Muslim Scholars, in its statement, strongly condemned the burning of the Qur’an with the permission of the Swedish authorities and called on the governments of the Islamic world to take a determined stance and to protect the holy places of the Islamic Ummah.
In the statement, the administrations in the Islamic world called on the Swedish ambassadors in their countries to demand an apology and take the necessary measures.

Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Spokesperson Hazim Kasim stated that the burning of the Qur'an is a provocative action against all Muslims and a blatant attack targeting their beliefs.
Asking the Swedish government to apologize to Muslims for this crime, Kasim demanded that the international community also prevent such acts, prevent all forms of hatred and extremism, and do what is necessary for the perpetrators to be held accountable.
