11 years have passed since the invader Israel regime's attack on the Mavi Marmara ship in international waters, 5 years ago today, a decision was made that stunned all Muslims. 5 years ago today, within the scope of the normalization agreement with Israel, the Istanbul 7th High Criminal Court dismissed the case regarding the Mavi Marmara massacre, in which 4 murderers, including the then Israel Chief of Staff Rau Aluf Gabiel Ashknazi, were tried. Despite the decision that made the Israel regime take a deep breath, the Mavi Marmara case continues to move forward in consciences.
LEGAL FIGHT HAD STARTED
In May 2010, the Mavi Marmara ship, which set out to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza and was carrying only aid volunteers and humanitarian aid, was attacked by the occupier Israel regime forces and 10 Muslims were martyred. In connection with the barbaric attack in which dozens of people were injured as well as martyrs, Mavi Marmara victims filed a lawsuit against Zionist Israel regime and a legal battle was started.
THE DECISION THAT WRUNG THE CONSCIENCES
While 11 years have passed since the invader Israel regime's attack on the Mavi Marmara ship in international waters, 5 years ago today, a scandal that grieved the whole of Turkey was signed and the Mavi Marmara case was dismissed. Within the scope of the normalization agreement with Israel, on the date of December 9, 2016; the Istanbul 7th High Criminal Court has ruled that the case of 4 defendants were tried, including the then Chief of General Staff of Israel Rau Aluf Gabiel Ashknazi, be dismissed and the arrest warrant for the murderers be removed.
THE MURDERER CHIEF OF THE GENERAL STAFF BECOME THE MINISTER WHEN CASE DISMISSED
The dismissal of the case against the murderers relieved the Zionist Israel regime, which killed 10 of our citizens and injured dozens by attacking the Mavi Marmara ship. So much so, as a result of that the lawsuit filed against Gabi Ashkenazi, the chief of staff of the Zionist Israel regime, on the day of the Mavi Marmara massacre, Ashkenazi became unable to leave the occupied territories by Zionist Israel. Ashkenazi, who has arrest warrants for him in many countries, took a deep breath after the case was dismissed and was recently appointed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Zionist Israel regime.
DESPITE EVERYTHING, PALESTINE WAIT FOR THE DAY OF FREEDOM
Since the day the Mavi Marmara case was dismissed, the invader Israel regime continues to carry out massacres, directly or indirectly, in many parts of the world, especially in the Palestinian territories. On the other hand, the oppressed people continue to resist against all odds. Even though the hearts of the oppressed people are hurt by the dismissal of the case that put the Israeli killers at ease, hopes grow. Despite all internal and external obstacles, Palestine wait for the day of freedom which will be free from river to sea.
