The new problem of retirees, most of whom receive salaries even below the minimum wage, is "falling to the bottom". It is stated that while very few retirees received a salary from the grassroots in the previous years, this rate increased to the level of 80 percent after the wrong steps taken. Under the current state of pensions lies the Law No. 5510, which was enacted in 2008 during the current ruling period and called "reform".
According to the announced hunger and poverty line figures, citizens trying to live on the minimum wage remained below the hunger limit.
Although the basic pensions have increased to 7 thousand 500 TL with the regulation made last month regarding the pensions that are below the minimum wage, a pension that is below the minimum wage continues to cause new grievances.

BAG LAW CAUSED SERIOUS VICTIMIZATIONS
The bag law, which regulates only the lowest pensions of retirees who make it difficult to end the month, was passed by the Parliament in the past few days. This arrangement also caused serious grievances in itself.

EQUAL RAISES MUST BE MADE TO PENSIONERS
Retirees stated that the lower limit should be equated with the minimum wage in the arrangements made for their pensions, and underlined that they are equated with misery with the regulation made.
It was stated that in the coming years, an equal raise for each pensioner would prevent grievances, instead of completing a "raise" against the density that will occur at the base of pensions.
