Ali Yalçın, Chairman of the Memur-Sen Confederation, met with the Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati. During the meeting; including the recruitment of contracted personnel to the staff, additional regulation issues in the additional indicator; Demands for tax base and preparation allowance for the academic year were shared. In the meeting; In accordance with the provision of the 6th Term Collective Agreement, it was requested that all contracted personnel be included in the scope, without making a temporary or indefinite distinction. In addition, the issues of transferring public workers from ‘temporary personnel’ to contracted personnel positions (from 4/C to 4/B), taking into account their terms of service, were also conveyed.
 

TO EXTEND THE SCOPE OF 3600 ADDITIONAL INDICATOR IS ALSO DEMANDED 

 
In the occasion that public servants study higher education, especially the ‘chiefs’ in the executive class, benefit from 3600 additional indicators and adjustments are made in the compensation reflection rates, it was discussed at the meeting that the additional indicator regulation would be more inclusive and would turn into a full reform. Ali Yalçın also stated that the interim increase in the minimum wage in July 2022 produced satisfaction for the employees; He also stated that making adjustments in income tax bases and increasing them as much as the 6-month inflation rate will prevent income loss for employees, especially for public servants. On the other hand, it was demanded that the annual preparation allowance for academic year, which is 1,325 Turkish Liras (TL) for 2022 and 1,400 TL for 2023, should be increased as much as the annual inflation rate.
