Hüseyin Kürkçü, owner of "Gönen Hilal Ticaret", stated that he is against the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Forestry to farmers.

"It is enough for the Ministry to pave the way for our farmers and livestock producers and make them money. Today, there is no baldo breed in paddy production in our country. Seed breeds have changed a lot. Currently, coarse-grained ones are called baldo, and short-grained ones are called Osmancık. Meat prices, on the other hand, will continue to rise with this mentality. Because as long as the milk prices are behind according to the conditions of the day, we have to give even the milk at a cheap price because the trader wants to buy it at a high price. The brood cattle are sent to slaughter. Therefore, meat shortage in Turkey is constantly increasing. If milk producers are not supported, the problem in meat will not end," he said.

“THEY MAKE PEOPLE MODERN SLAVE”

Kürkçü stated that the dairy breed was given to the production of the farms and that the milk was not sold at present value.

"Family farming in Turkey is finished. If we cannot keep the milk alive, it will result in disappointment in the meat. If we keep the milk alive, meat will be pumped into the market. Since the milk prices are not balanced in feed prices, everything triggers each other: The state gives barley cheap, but the feed I sell will be a high price of 30 liras per sack. In Turkey, while the ratio of the number of farmers to the total population was around 40 percent in the 1980s, this ratio has now dropped to 7 percent. Agricultural and livestock policies in Turkey are planned to reduce and destroy the number of farmers and stockbreeders. By emptying the villages, they bring modern slavery on the big farms. They take people away from agriculture and animal husbandry and make workers for factories in cities. They want no agriculture or animal husbandry in villages or rural areas. This is one of the biggest tricks of Zionism on our people in our country," Kürkçü added.
