According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.08 percent in October and 1.71 percent in the Domestic Producer Price Index (CPI). Annual inflation was 11.90 percent in consumer prices and 17.28 percent in domestic producer prices.
"Economy" is not the economy, it is the inflation that has reached the summit of the last 9 years ... In the past days the promise of a minister of the government "we have an economical economy" got even more meaning with the announced inflation figures! The inflation, which has climbed to the peak of the last 9 years, continued to kiss the citizen's pocket. Inflation, which is said to rise to 5 per cent but is still attached to a double han, was 2.08 per cent in October, while annual inflation rose to 11.90 per cent. The growth of the money in the citizen's pocket earned speed!
In the case of "Yes" on the April 16 referendum, it was said that the transition to the upper income group in the economy would be unfolding, economic stability would be achieved and ambiguities in the markets would end. In the last 7 months, the economic situation is getting worse and every part of the society is suffering a great deal. The promise of "everything will come" can not go beyond being "empty promise".
CLOTHING AND SHOES PRICES
In October, the highest monthly increase was in the clothing and footwear group with 11.51 percent, while it was 2.96 percent in household goods, 2.61 percent in transportation, 1.97 percent in food and non-alcoholic beverages and 0.94 percent in housing.
In October, the biggest decline in the monthly index was realized in entertainment and culture with 1.75 percent. Another group showing a decline was communication with 0.01 percent.
ANNUAL INCREASE AT TRANSITION LEVEL
The highest increase in the annual CPI by 16.79 percent was seen in the transport group. This group followed food and non-alcoholic beverages (12.74 percent), various goods and services (12.63 percent), health (12.21 percent) and household goods (11.65 percent). While the average prices of 51 of 414 items covered last month were unchanged, the average prices of 298 were increased and the average prices of 65 were decreasing.
EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE IF 'YES' VOTE WINS
The politics that the producers, the tradesmen and the craftsmen, the economic troubles of the consumers, millions of unemployed, and the millions who have suffered the livelihoods "can not see" and the economy is the "exchange - interest" are increasingly taking economics.
Taking into consideration the average of 12 months in October, consumer prices increased by 10.37 percent and domestic producer prices increased by 14.47 percent.
