Due to the energy crisis, the energy restriction in industrial zones caused the industrialists to revolt!
After January 21, a 40 percent restriction was applied to the natural gas used by the factories, and a power cut that would last for 3 to 4 days began in all organized industrial zones.
While the reason for the cut was explained as the cut off of natural gas purchased from Iran, it was noteworthy that only 28.5 million cubic meters of natural gas consumption, which was 287 million cubic meters per day, was purchased from Iran.
INTERRUPTION IN OIZs ALSO BROUGHT DISCUSSIONS
With the cessation of natural gas coming from Iran, the restriction of electricity in Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ) brought along discussions.
After Iran cut off the natural gas, after January 21, the natural gas used by the factories was restricted by 40 percent.
As of January 24, a power outage began in all organized industrial zones that would last for 3 to 4 days.
This situation made us wonder how much of the daily consumption of natural gas purchased from Iran is met.
IRANIAN GAS CONSTITUTES TO VERY LITTLE OF DAILY CONSUMPTION
While the daily natural gas consumption of Turkey is 287 million cubic meters under normal conditions, the daily amount of natural gas purchased from Iran is 28.5 million cubic meters.
According to the allegations, 15 million cubic meters of natural gas per day continued to flow to Turkey after Iran's restriction.
While the amount of natural gas purchased from Iran corresponds to very little of the daily consumption, it is wondered why there is a power cut in the organized industrial zones.
