Six Table representatives accelerated their work for the transition process. At the Six Table, formed by the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Good (IYI) Party, Saadet Party, Democrat Party, Future (Gelecek) Party and Democracy and Progress (Deva) Party, the steps of the transition to the Strengthened Parliamentary System are discussed one by one. While separate studies are carried out for each ministry with the commissions formed, it is planned to increase the number of ministries.
5 COMMISSION CONTINUES THEIR WORKS CONTINUOUSLY
The Transition Process Roadmap Commission, the Constitutional and Legal Reform Commission, the Institutional Reform Commission, the Election Security Commission and the Communications Commission, which were formed after the Six Table discussions, continue to work in all areas. With these commissions, Six Tables wants to implement the Strengthened Parliamentary System by gaining the majority in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).
NUMBER OF MINISTRY WILL INCREASED
At the table where the leaders have full authority on the joint president, another important issue is how the cabinet will be formed, and the commissions continue to work on the most appropriate method. In the commission meetings, in which different formulas were discussed, the focus was on giving a vice presidency and a ministry to each of the six parties at the table. In addition, it is planned to give ministries to the parties at the rate of deputies. Another phase of the work focuses on the division of some ministries. It is stated that this study will increase the number of ministries.
