The number of coronavirus cases surges pass 1,518,000 worldwide

Coronavirus pandemic, which affected more than 180 countries and 200 territories, have so far infected at least 1,518,000 people around the world.

Until now, 88,471 people who tested positive for the virus have lost their lives worldwide.

The U.S. has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases with 435,535 cases, followed by Spain with 148,220 cases, Italy with 139,422 cases, Germany with 113,460 cases, France with 112,950 cases, Germany with 113,460 cases, China with 81,865 cases, Iran with 64,586 cases and the United Kingdom with 60,733 cases.

Globally, 332,996 patients have fully recovered from the disease and have been discharged from hospital.
