As the elections approach, the efforts to regulate the government and its partner continue increasingly. Citizens' eyes turned to the promises made by the People's Alliance, formed by the AKP and MHP, in the 2018 elections.
Although steps have been taken regarding the regulations expected by the citizens such as EYT, 3600 Additional Indicator, no steps have been taken regarding the regulations regarding the inclusion of ancillary services class and internship insurance within the scope of insurance.
Victims are calling for steps to be taken on these issues as soon as possible and the problems to be resolved.
REGULATIONS FOR 2023 ELECTIONS CONTINUE
With a short time before the elections, the government continues to take steps towards the elections. While regulations such as EYT, 3600 Supplementary Indicator and recruitment of contracted employees were made, some regulations remained as election promises.
The regulations regarding the ancillary services class and the inclusion of internship insurance within the scope of insurance continue to be uncertain.
While Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, makes negative statements especially regarding internship insurance, the victims demand that the problem be solved as soon as possible by giving them the right to borrow.
"LET'S THINK A SOLUTION FOR ALL INTERNSHIP VICTIMS"
Pointing out that internship insurance should be counted towards retirement, Ferhat Salman, President of the Internship Insurance Victims (SSM) Association, stated that the process that started at a young age causes victimization in the retirement process years later.
"Minister Bilgin said that there is work first, and then he ignored us. One way or another, a solution has been brought about EYT, but as there is no study related to internship, the issue is covered up by remaining silent. Well, there are 53 law proposals regarding the solution of the issue. We were an election promise in the 2014 elections, we were in the same situation in 2018, and the situation we have come to is clear. At least, let's bring an immediate solution to the people who did their internship before 1999 but started working after 1999, then let's think about the solution for all internship victims," he said.
WITH THE APPOINTMENT, THE VICTIMIZATION THAT CONTINUED FOR YEARS WILL END
Making statements about the problems of the auxiliary services class, Savdes-Sen Police Department Head Selçuk Özdemir pointed out that there are approximately 110 thousand auxiliary services class personnel in the public sector.
"With the removal of the auxiliary services class, which was included in the collective agreement agreement texts of 2005 and for which a law proposal was made in 2018, the current personnel were assigned to the service classes suitable for their duties and educational status; labor, education, merit and professional competence will be respected, the grievances that have been going on for years will be eliminated, productivity will increase, and since social and financial rights will improve, labor peace will be achieved," Özdemir said.
