Aytaç Feda, President of the Edirne Branch of the Trakya Public Real Estate Consultants Association, said, “Unfurnished rental houses are 3,000-3,500 Turkish Liras (TL). These numbers will increase when school starts, due to supply and demand. It seems that the rents of the furnished houses will be based on 5,000 TL.”
“DIFFICULT DAYS ARE WAITING FOR STUDENTS”
Aytaç Feda, President of the Edirne Branch of the Trakya Public Real Estate Consultants Association, evaluated the rental real estate market just days before the opening of the universities. Stating that hard times await students who will come to the city to study at university, “The university enrollment is about to start right now. 8,000 students will come to Edirne to study. However, there is a great shortage of houses in Edirne. High rents are a problem. Unfurnished rental houses are 3,000-3,500 TL. These numbers will increase when school starts, due to supply and demand. It seems that the rents of the furnished houses will be based on 5,000 TL. What we want from our people; we all have children, we all have students, they are studying outside, taking these into consideration, helping and supporting the students who will come to our city in terms of rents,” Feda added.
THEY DEFINITELY CANNOT RECEIVE THE MONEY THAT THEY HAVE INVESTED
“There are those who share a rental house on social media or on the internet. I want to warn our people not to be deceived and not to believe in these,” said Feda, “There is an asparagus advertisement. They will never receive their deposited money. Since he sent it voluntarily, the case and the take-back case are eliminated. In this regard, they need to look at houses for rent and sale through professional sites. I want to warn students not to be deceived by places that appear to be rented on social media and the internet,” he added.
