While inflation increases exponentially, it causes the cost of living to increase due to the fact that the income of the citizen does not increase at the same rate.

While the government is trying to keep inflation under control by suppressing real data, real pressure causes the cost of living to explode. The government, caught in the spiral of inflation, raises everything that comes before it as a solution.
